Same with Tangen sensei.
Shouldn't Tomb of Jade have repeatable?

Shouldn't Tomb of Jade have repeatable?
Same with Tangen sensei.
Maybe and no, respectively. I'll elaborate...
Back when I first made the Oracle, I made the unilateral and admittedly somewhat arbitrary decision to not put "Repeatable" on pre-LE Spells that destroyed themselves because using them more than once per turn contemporarily was nigh impossible without multiple-card combos and against intent. I may revisit that thought at some point, as it is technically incorrect.
Tangen Sensei's ability is not Repeatable. It is Once Per Battle, which is present in its text.
Regarding Tangen, so you can use his ability multiple times per turn but only once each battle?
Otherwise, why put "once per battle" as a limitation when it's just once per turn.
Right. "Once per Battle" is a greater frequency than the default Once per turn, but less than "Repeatable" (which is "any number of times per turn").
That's clear. Thanks.
Does this kata allow to play followers from the discard pile?
No. Reserve allows you to attach Attachments with the keyword from your hand as a Battle action. You can no more Equip a Follower from the discard with this Kata than you could a Follower in the discard with the printed "Reserve" keyword.
Thank you. That was my interpretation but my friend insisted that discard is out of play
The discard IS out of play, but Reserve doesn't let you attach from there in any case, whether granted by this Kata or printed on the Follower naturally.
Thanks!
