Appreciate all your help guys, One more dumb one (we play tons of magic and I'm confusing the rules a bit) 1) holdings come into play bowed correct? 2) can personalities bow to perform an ability the turn they come out? Or summoning sickness applies (pardon my mtg lingo)
Holdings come into play bowed
Personalities enter play in the Dynasty Phase, which is towards the end of the turn - there's little to do after that except draw a card.
Then it's your opponent's turn, and the Personalities you bought on your turn can do whatever.
Okay thank you! Haven't played in years ago just refamiliarizing myself
Starting with Ivory there are Personalities with Dynasty abilities, that can be played as next action after they enter play, like eg Kachiko
btw are Siege personalities legal in standard play?
i mean - Ivory Constructed
Yes, they have 20F/Onyx legality bugs, so they are legal in Twenty Festivals Arc
cool cool cool
thanks Kempy
If you Recruit Personality during Action or Battle phases (there are strategies/spells/items that allow it) they can normally use their abilities or attack this turn as well.
Ok coolio. Does it have to specifically say so: There's a a classic shujenja I like that bows to make gold equal to her personal honor. Can she enter play and then bow to pay for a holding?
depends how her trait/reaction is worded, but she should be allowed to do it after recruited during dynasty phase (unless its limited or open ability).
Thank you! In my head your nickname is officially Shawn Kempy cause this advice is a slam dunk Haha
Well, I guess I live here now. 😛 buys house, movies in
Heh
Careful which neighbourhood you pick, apparently prices in the older ones have been skyrocketing.
