I downloaded the Sun and Moon cardpacks instead and got 99.9% of things.
Does anyone know how I can download the library of cards from the OotV site?
Messages from the Oracle of the Void #l5r Discord channel, copied for Oracle of the Void. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings and the rulebooks may differ.

Funny I was looking for the same sort of thing, not looking for the whole library, but just by arcs. I've been teaching gemini to play, but it sometimes pulls wrong card stats, was wondering if there is some spreadsheet I could make to feed the ai so it could better know the cards
Hunh. Neat.
Finally, a good use for AI.
I tried getting them off the OotV site but it is a lot of work and time to do it manually
You just want the cards, right? Potentially for printing, or some other project?
Is there a way to get a spreadsheet version of the cards?
If so, I second the Sun and Moon suggestion. Install Sun and Moon, and it will download every (printed) non-proxy card (at least I don't think it grabs proxies?) by default. If you want the continuation stuff, check out the Onyx channel or just reply to this and I'll invite you to the Onyx Lives discord and help you navigate the links
A spreadsheet? like excel? or a PDF with the card images on them?
I am looking for HD card images if possible of every set
I have all HD images of the cards for every set from the FFG LCG
The Sun and Moon images are straight pulls from Oracle- its the only way I know to mass-pull from the site. And the resolution isn't great but its the best you'll get for a lot of them. I think the cards on OL are higher quality technically, for those sets, but we're not talking scales that really matter
Hmmm...
let me be clear- they're good. just not 4k HD-see-every-pore, see-every-brushstroke good
It would be nice if there was a download option on the OotV site
possibly. Base Sun and Moon install is like, 4, maybe 5 clicks. Its a little more effort for the Onyx stuff but ultimately its not bad
Maybe for a zip file for each set
Where do I post on here if anyone is interested in digital L5R 1e-5e of the RPG?
Would that be in offtopic?
Idk but i'm interested if you're willing to ping me directly
I pinged you
I was looking for an excel spreadsheet of card info by era, does anyone know a way of getting that information without having to manually enter it?
Note that SnM won't pull them down by default. That's a ton of bandwidth. You have to search and go set by set, and the SnM database isn't 100% complete.
So you're still better off getting the "card packs" for it.
It's under 2GB I believe.
I don't believe there's anything spreadsheet-like available for L5R, beyond things like card counts on a set, maybe.
Cool cool cool, I figured but you never know🤣
Thank you for info
Where do you get sun and moon card packs from?
Mine did? Or theres an option in the settings. Either way, I have sets downloaded that i definitely havent looked at.
Also, whats missing from it? It (Onyx Lives aside) pulls from Oracle, so if somethings missing in SnM its likely missing on Oracle as well...
I guess it doesn't cache proxies, but it can be told to fetch them
Have you ever checked main pinned post in welcome channel of SnM discord?
Oh yeah, I havent read that page in a while, there is also a direct download there
Though the post is slightly misleading- SnM reads from the hard drive, but it will query anything it doesn't have to Oracle assuming you have an internet connection.
Though that wouldn't have helped Jei-san- he wasn't on that discord until I helped him a few hours ago.
Is there a separate sun and moon discord server? I didn't see anything about discord on the website.
Initial CRIII uploaded. Sorry about the delay all, I started a new job and got quite behind in the transition. The good part is that after I'm up to speed, I expect to a) have more time to work on Oracle and b) my day job now aligns more with Oracle programming, so I expect to be able to make some improvements via better skills.
Nice! I hope the new job works out well!
About to start a full day of OBO (Old Back Only) with x TEN players in Detroit.
Old skool L5R is alive and well here!
I attended many a Detroit Kotei in my day. From ~2.5 hours to the west, I salute you!
Also, yay for OBO!
You in MI ?
Yep. SW, Kalamazoo area.
