[ShE] Like a Twig states that I must bow my unit. Does this mean that it doesn't work unless ALL cards in my unit are unbowed. So if even just one card in my unit is bowed, I cannot use Like a Twig with that unit? Or is there some kind of distinction between personalities and attachments, like I can use it even if an attachment is bowed so long as the personality is unbowed, or I can use it even if the personality is bowed so long as at least one attachment is unbowed?

Id imagine the “Bow your target personality’s unit to” clause means that every card must be unbowed for it to take effect/resolve.
Like, reading the card it seems completely broken to me if that wasn’t the case. “Surprise, i bow my 1F follower since my personality is already bowed to kill your unit” not to mention the straightening part

Question about Kata strategies...can I put into play a Kata card without discarding another Kata in play with the same title?
Most (all?) Kata say "discard all your other Kata". This means other than that exact one, regardless of same or different title.
If I'm understanding your question correctly, then discarding a Kata Strategy is not a cost of the action so if you don't have one in play to discard then it's not a big deal. It is only a way to prevent people from having multiple Kata in play
I read it as a misunderstanding of the scope of "other". Why else would the title be relevant to the question? But your added clarification is possibly needed too. Thanks. 🙂
I definitely understand what you mean. Just wanted some clarification about having multiple kata strategies with the same title in play. So yeah, you cannot put into play multiple copies of Cracks Appear...if you're gonna do that you'll need to discard that one copy already in play per wording, "Discard all your other Kata".

My take is: How High maximal range of Fear can be used from this follower on ENGAGE and on BATTLE action
cause I quite NOT LIKE that my opponent was using battle actions turned interrupts in Engage segment and vice versa.
in my understanding there is a window of interrupt and there is a reason why action is printed as Engage or Battle, and neither of thous were Engage/Battle
as I understand it, combining Fears or Attacks have to share a phase keyword, therefore you could have Engage: 2xFear3=Fear6 ad Battle: 2xFear3=Fear 6
Same reason you can't stack those Fears with an Open Fear like the one on Terrible Standard of Fu Leng - exp (If I recall the right card name)
yes me too but my oponent was quite Sure it was not like that ans was stating that all thous actions are turned interrupts after he initiated fear action so he can use then "as he pleases"

He does take an Interrupt for each, but he doesn't transform the action itself into an Interrupt (kind of, he still uses the ability of that action).

kempy did point out in the S&M discord that I'm misreading, since the appropriate phase is the Attack Phase. Engage and Battle are both appropriate to the Attack Phase
It also has to be able to target the same card. Example being called the inferno can target personalities through followers, if you have another range attack on that stack, it has to be able to do the same for it to be combined.
I think the other exception is if you have a courage effect to raise or lower the fear strength can be done by both players

Looking through Oracle, it’s shown as legal for Onyx/ShE but does not have the image for this version of the card
I just searched for the card in Sun and Moon, under ShE legality, and it appeared without issues.
I pulled it out of Oracle, HFW version is the last variant
