Your Rules for Friday, June 2, 2004

Rules Q

My opponent has multiple units defending at a provience, he plays come one at a time. Now according to the DE MRP he can play the terrain regardless of total units. COAAT grants the players the ability to send one of their units home bowed as a battle action. Is this ability able to be used when there is *only* one defender, or can it still be used when there are multiple defending units?

Both abilities are only avaiable while there is one defender. This prevents Come One At A Time from becoming an attacker's pseudo-rally.

dark rings

can i substitue a dark ring for a card when the tex speak of an elemental rings (like armor of earth, gusen of water,...) ???

Dark Rings of X count as "Ring of X" as per the keyword rules.

They will work for elemental items, but keep in mind that all 3 elemental items in Diamond have been errata'd to remove their cost-reduction traits.

Playing multiple rings with Tch'tch warrens...

If I steal my opponents ring with Tch'tch Warrens, and have that same ring in my hand, can I play out both rings?

Sure. Just remember that an Enlightenment Victory requires that you have all 5 rings in play (Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and Void) not 5 copies of Water or 2 water and 3 air, for example.

- End Of Turn

At end of turn, can the active player (SLH) choose for the Uncertainty effect to wear off first (thus killing Hiro) or do the penalties wear off simultaeneously (leaving him alone)?

I'm going to talk to Jeff about this one.

That should cover everything from Friday. If I missed your question, please repost it with the flag [RULES] as part of a clear and distinct subject line and I'll get back to you at the first opportunity.
