Let's start :
Dramatis Personae : Player A : Shiba Yoma XP A Shugenja Shiba Danjuro
Player B: Mr X
Case #1 : Yoma XP is opposed by Mr X in a battle, I have a shugenja home.
Player B play To Do on Mr X to kill Yoma XP. Player A's Shugenja cast Turn of Fortune (he's considered in the battle casting it, because of Yoma's Text). Player's A Shugneja Dies.
Actually, going on the raw data, I'm not sure that is going to happen. After the Turn has resolve, the Shugenja is back at home, and no longer a legal target. That might very well cancel the Action. Also, the Shugenja may not qualify as "something the Action could have targeted originally" since it wasn't there in the first place.
I want to forward this over to Jeff for a little confirmation.

I asked this one a couple days ago and saw no response, so I'm going to ask it again. Does the Force bonus of Shining Example meet the requirements for the boost from Heart of a Hero?

I have Shiba Tsukimi with a Hero's Banner attached and Agasha Cheih Exp at home with Kuros Fire and the Isawa house guard attached. When she casts kuros fire does she gain the +1 from heros banner?
Yes. Her unit is in the army and has an attached follower.
