My Akodo Tadenori is bowed, defending against three Shinjo Yushiros at province 1. Can I use Luring Tactics to move Tadenori and a Yushiro over to province 2 even if Tadenori is bowed?
Yes (Diamond rules, pg. 32).
My opponent gains 2 honor while I have Doji Nagori and Kakita Hirotada in play. Can I bow Nagori to increase the honor gain by 1, then bow Hirotada to Rhetoric the now 3-honor-gain to myself? If so, do I still get the additional 1 honor gain from Nagori's ability?
No; Rhetoric occurs before an honor gain, so must be used before Nagori's Reaction, which occurs when honor is gained.
My opponent's Soshi Angai challenges my Daidoji Akagi to a duel. Can I react with multiple copies of Accept With Honor, gaining 4 honor for each?
Yes (Diamond rules, pg. 75).
I'm using the Shinden Horiuchi stronghold. Since my spells are considered to be both spells and items, could I use Trickster Spirits to search for a spell card?
No; cards out of play aren't "yours" (Diamond rules, pg. 105).
Could I use Yasuki Trader to retrieve a spell in my discard pile?
Yes (Diamond rules, pg. 55, 99).
