Greetings,
Rules Question
If the person controlling Tanistu (Yoshi) discards the favor and the person with A Champion's Heart in play uses it's ability can the controler of Tanistu (Yoshi) take the Favor back anyway? And of course the reverse situation exists. eg Discard the Favor, Player to the Left may take reactions in response to this - Uses A Champion's Heart, Player's may react to the use of A Champion's Heart, All players pass, The player who controls Tanitsu (Yoshi) may now use his reaction.
There's a Diamond component in all that comboing, so I'm leaving it For Jeff Alexander.
Yoritomo Rui
[C]an I boost the strength [of Rui's Ranged Attack] with "Tsuruchi Technique"[?]
Yes.
Diamond spoilers, Complete?
Is there a set of spoilers out there, including WoC, H&E, and FOU diamond legal cards, that include the text as well as the name?
Your best bet is the search engines, like toysmakeuspowerful.com or l5rsearch.com. Be aware that they have errors, though, as such things tend to have.
Yu
If my opponent won't cut my deck, can I cut my own?
Um. Why does this matter?
The Shogun's Barracks: Does it mean that you have to have the favor to use it but not discard it if your wind is kaneka?
No. It means what it says: discarding the Favor is not a cost for the action when your Wind is Kaneka. Thus, if your Wind is Akodo Kaneka, the action may be used regardless of where the Favor is.
encircled terrain. All [defending Personalities] are bowed and nick has one ghul lord left. Danny played encircled terrain. What happens at this point?
All defending Personalities leave the battle. The one attacking one stays.
Can he play encircled terrain even though he is completely bowed.
Yes (Rules Archive, General Rules, Terrains).
Will this situation be any different in diamond?
Probably.
Two Questions
Snak + Assuming the Champion ship + for the Clan. Can he be challenged and the card wasted, or is it they are free to challenge any other rat I have in play? (I'm a ratling player)
Anyone can be challenged.
For the Clan does not mandate just targeting the Champion Personality. If that was all, Snak would be a legal target for the actions causing challenges and negate all the effects of the challenge (Rules Archive, General Rules, Targeting).
For the Clan mandates that the challenging player must create a challenge "if able." With Snak, the challenging player isn't "able," so the requirement to challenge a Champion isn't in effect.
Can a Temple of the Ninth Kami player end his turn and search for gifts and favors and retrieve it from a face up province he has in play?
No (card text).
