Does each range attack count as a seperate battle action?
Currently, no.
[C]onsidering how there are some 0 force tokens being out put out by the raling maiden, could in theory a shugenja do an unlimited amount of 0 force range attacks?
There's no theory involved. It's possible (currently).
if one of those range attacks are (fled from the darkness) what happens to the other attacks?
If it's canceled, there are no other Ranged Attacks (precedent: Rules Archive, Holdings, Shrine of Osano-Wo).
Beachhead
If beachhead is destroyed or negated does the bonus still apply?
No (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 55).
I've got confirmation that for Barren Fields, the defender's bowing of cards ia based on only the Gold-producing holdings, just like the attacker.
