Diamond Edition OFFICIAL comment?
As I have stated before, I currently buy the Gold-legal expansions and will have many of the cards that will make up Diamond. It was the re-introduction of older cards from Open that will be difficult for me. While I salivate for a Soul of Ikoma Ken'o ( yeah right :)! ) There is a high likelyhood that I will not own any of older versions of the re-introduced cards. Is any thought being given to making those particular cards available for Koku or releasing them in the expansions prior to Diamonds release?
Any that end up being rare have a chance of being offered for koku

Really, to me, the differences I see are few, and several in favor for "Gold like" -- the larger pool being one. The only "Gold-like" difference that worries me is the story time gap. /Will/ Diamond be a 30 year gap?

Yoritomo Soetsuko Q
This may have been covered already, but if it was I missed it. Can Yoritomo Soetsuko use her reaction when the card effect that is bowing her target is also bowing her (for example, Stand Against the Waves)?
Since she uses her Reaction "before" the bowing happens, yes. [card text]

Are there currently any plans on making up-to-date checklists for the more recent sets (Dark Allies, Broken Blades, Fall of Otosan Uchi) available?

rules question
Is it possible to use Soshi Eiji to target Ikiryo, as once Ikiryo's attached to a personality, the honor loss is no more variable but equal to the personality'chi ?
The Fall of Otosan Uchi rulesheet defines "variable" as "Not known until the moment it's used or needed." The honor loss from Ikiryo's ability does not meet this definition, meaning it's not variable, meaning Eiji can copy it.

Correct. Inferno does not interfere with their ability to attach Spells.

This I am well aware of. The issue was not buying a base set where I already own 90% or more of the cards. I don't need the extra cards, but now it appears that I am going to have to in order to obtain the cards being re-introduced. I already have enough Block Supply Lines and such. Buying another base set as large as Gold is not fiscally feasible for me.
This prompts me to ask why you feel the need to purchase vast quanitities of a set in order to acquire a small number of particular cards. Trading and the singles market are, and always have been, more effective at accomplishing this.
