I have 3 questions:
1. About City of Tears: Does the Ancient halls of the Akodo (Stronghold) reaction ability also prevent me from destroying the City of Tears?
Sure. Think of the Ancient Halls reaction as blanking out the terrain card.
2. The Great Silence: Even Reaction cards can't be played right?
Right. Reactions are actions.
3. Nature Provides: Can i bow a monk to produce gold by himself? or do i have to be actually producing gold (i.e, actually bowing a holding to pay for a personality in the dynasty phase).
Nope. You can only produce gold when you're doing something that has a gold cost associated with it.
Ruling Questions
Hiya,
My first question concerns the card Master's Tactics.
Master's Tactics reads "All effects that would prevent this card [terrain] from taking full effect are negated."
If I played Master's Tactics with the Terrain Battle of Quiet Winds, would I be able to target an opposing personality with Kitsuki Kaagi's Journal attached?
No. The Journal does not negate or prohibit effects, it restricts targeting.
The second question is O- Ushi Sensei. Does it work in any strange way with Hitomi Kokujin?
Outside of creating a challenge, Hitomi Kokujin Exp. doesn't do anything with Chi. There's nothing strange for O-Ushi Sensei to work with.
Now the original, on the other hand... His reaction can still be used if O-Ushi Sensei is used against one of his duels so long as either participant used Chi, and it will cause a -1F penalty instead.
