Preserving Honor and undetectable enemy

L5R CCG Rules board, 1 September 2012 to 3 September 2012

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi,

If I use Preserving Honor and my opponent negate it useing the Undetectable Enemy will this negate the ation it self or it is treated as negating bowing or movement and in resolution the personality is removed from the game?

Preserving Honor: Battle: Target an enemy Personality at the current battlefield: His controller chooses either to bow him, or to choose another location and move him there. If the bowing or movement is negated, remove the Personality from the game.

Undetectable Enemy: Reaction: After another player's action targets your Oni: Negate its effects.

Thx for reply

Undetectable enemy negates ALL the effects of Preserving Honor, INCLUDING the conditional effect that would remove the Personality from the game.
