I am a little confused. I checked Oracle of the Void and it looks like that Ravine would exclude any printed action on a card not at the current battlefield. But, logically, cards like Halls of the Damned should work, the action on it is being performed by a person at the current battlefield. Am I right, that currently, if the action isn't printed on a card physically at the current battlefield, Ravine stops it? Or, can actions that are performed by someone at the current battlefield be taken?
Legacy: Ravine vs. Halls of the Damned
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Yes, that's correct.

I see no basis for that "logic". There is nothing about Ravine's current or old text suggesting that "performing" allows some end-around exemption to its effects.

Correct, if by "stops it", you mean, "makes it illegal to take" (and that's of course excepting actions that would destroy Ravine or move units to its battlefield, per its text).
However, this question did bring to my attention the unrelated point that in the specific case of Halls of the Damned, at the time of Ravine's printing, Strongholds were not considered "cards". So, Ravine's Oracle text has been adjusted to reflect this.
