A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
A player, 22 May 2012
I couldn't see if this question had already been answered on the rules forum so apologies if it has. Can a player play Shameful Rebuke if there is only his personality at the battlefield?
Shameful Rebuke Battle: In turn order, starting with you, each player targets and moves one of his Personalities at the current battlefield home. Then, choose a player who loses Honor equal to the number of Personalities this moved.

Yes, that is legal.
There are no required targets of Shameful Rebuke; all you need to play it is your own Presence.
