Yoritomo Hiromi vs Vigilant Riders and others

L5R CCG Rules board, 7 May 2012 to 10 May 2012

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi,

Have a couple of questions about Yoritomo Hiromi card.

His Text seys: Bowing, destruction, and movement from Battle actions Hiromi performs will not be negated or delayed. Battle: Target an enemy card without attachments, or an enemy unit, with a lower total Gold Cost than Hiromi's unit: Hiromi strikes with the power of Thunder. Destroy the target.

What about when he target a unit with Vigilant Riders whos reaction is After another player's action targets a card in this unit: Negate this card's destruction from the action's effects. Does they protect form destruction made by Yoritomo?

And another example: Does Kakita Kae trait that says After a Battle action targets Kae, you may discard the Imperial Favor: If you did, negate Kae's destruction, bowing, and movement from the action's effects. Battle: Move Kae home. Can be used agains Yoritomo destrucion battle action?

Another question this time about Imperial favor. I know that lobby is a limited ation and can be performed once per turn, but what about action from favor itself like political limited : discard imperial fevor and a card:draw a card, or moving enemy units home? can the be used more than once in a turn ex. I start my turn with a Imperial favor becouse I made a Lobby performed by Doji Dainagon who can lobby as an open. Then I use favor political limitted, than I lobby in my turn and can I use a political limitted once more?

Thx for Reply

Then I use favor political limitted, than I lobby in my turn and can I use a political limitted once more? The player abilities, like all other abilities, are, unless otherwise stated, usable once per turn.
