A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

If I use Genmyo's ability to give him the Loyal keyword what happens?
The ability is worded thusly: Open: Target one of your Personalities: Genmyo copies one of his keywords.
EDIT: I ask because of a change to the meaning of the Loyal keyword. In Celestial Loyal meant that a personality would not become controlled by a player who does not share their Clan Alignment, in Emperor it means that the personality will not be controlled by a player that does not share their alignment.

Nothing (see here).
Also, please try the Search function before asking.

That's not a change.
It's a slight difference in phrasing between the online Comprehensive Rules and the Rulebook, but they mean the same thing.
Of note: The CE Rulebook and EE Rulebook definitions of Loyal match exactly.
