A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I've reead the ruling here http://www.alderac.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=90009 and wondered how that would play into actions performed by magistrates using Magistrate's Stipend.
Would things like A Stain Cleansed, which is performed by a magistrate, be a magistrate action and thus function with the ruling referenced above?
Thanks

Nope.
Actions do not gain additional keywords based upon who is performing them; an action only has the keywords of the card it is on. "A Stained Cleansed" is nothing more than a Battle action.
