unique cards with no name

L5R CCG Rules board, 5 July 2011

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

What happens if you have two created cards with the Unique keyword.

For example, a ninja token created from the BtD Goju Sawaki copies keywords and abilities from "Kyogen" via the strategy "Sly Deciever", then a second of said created ninja does the same thing. Sly deciever allows for abilities that copy keywords to be copied (provided they do not copy abilities as well), so now they both use Kyogen's ability to copy Unique off somebody. Now two created personalities have the "unique" keyword. Lets say one is targeted with enticement, and goes to the other player's control. Can the 1st player use enticement to take him back? (or second player use enticement to get the 2nd ninja as well)

Last I checked, the rules say that created personalities have no name. So would it be ruled that because they have no name, they cannot share a name, or is it that they share the name of "*no name*" and are treated like any other conflict of unique keyword on cards who do not have different names.

( for the record; I have a vastly more likely scenario, this came up when I was testing a magistrate dishonor deck that included happen to include the new FL kitsune to offset self-honor-loss + spell support. In a mirror mantis match up (honor kitsune vs. dishonor magistrate), we both got him out and I wondered if I could grab the enemy fox token personality with enticement to make attacking safer and force the PH4 guy to the field to be dishonored. ) ( I mention it as a side-note because it still says FL questions are not allowed. the pdf was distributed in non-preview form for playtesting gencon decks, so if official "playtesting" permission was given and the cards distributed for playing; to me it seems like the 'don't ask FL questions' sticky post should be out of date since 'how can we playtest if we can't ask rules questions?". I don't want this to seem silly for presenting such an unlikely scenario as if it would ever happen, but I also don't want to break the preview rules so I found a similar question to be 'inspired' to ask. I'd like to be direct about what I'm really asking if possible. )

The former. Cards with no name cannot share a name, in the same way that cards without any Clan alignment cannot share Clan alignments. So, two created cards with no name and "Unique" would not conflict with each other.
