A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

If you create a copy of a card (eg. via Amazing Feat) that has an enters play ability or trait, are you able to use said ability or trait?
For example if you create a copy of Raido no Oni, do you lose honour?
If so, that means if you create a copy of Chuda Kanashi you gain honour?
Could you, for example, use Chuda Atsuro's reaction to the entering play trigger?
I realise you aren't answering BtD cards yet (despite the set is out), so take it as more a general question. I'm sure there's other cards (Egg of Panku or something?) that I don't know of that do a similar thing.

If you create a copy of a card that has an enters play ability or trait, are you able to use said ability or trait?
Yes, assuming other conditions or targeting are met and mandatory costs are paid (if any), per Created cards: "Created cards [...] enter play when created. "
For example if you create a copy of Raido no Oni, do you lose honour?
Yes.
If so, that means if you create a copy of Chuda Kanashi you gain honour?
Yes.
Could you, for example, use Chuda Atsuro's reaction to the entering play trigger?
No, because this Reaction has the condition "from a province".

Hello, in this post (viewtopic.php?f=59&t=90654&p=1203959&hilit=amazing+feat#p1203959) say that if you copy with Amazing Feat a personality that has an enters trait if you create a copy Chuda Kanashi you gain honor but Amazing Feat never say that you can copy traits. Can you gain honor with Amazing Feat + Chusa Kanashi? Thanks.

Can you gain honor with Amazing Feat + Chusa Kanashi?
No. for reason given. If, however, an effect did copy the card's trait, you would gain honor.

I am fairly sure I am not the only one confused about this explanation
viewtopic.php?f=59&t=90654
So I am going to rephrase the question thusly
Limited: Bow your performing Artisan Personality and target a non-Unique Personality. Create a Personality with the same base Force, Chi, Personal Honor and keywords as the targeted Personality, who permanently copies all his base abilities except those that copy abilities. Remove the created Personality from the game when your next turn begins.
Does Amazing Feat copy traits on the personality it creates? My reading of the card is that it does not but would like it clearly ruled if possible.
If it does then it would be logical to assume that any of them that have entering play triggers could/may be used.
