I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't seem the find the answer. I recently played against a Palace of Breaking Dawns deck that used The Badgers Live to negate a destruction of one of his people. The way I read the card, only Crane players gain the 2 honor AND the negation?

Regardless of your clan, when you resolve The Badgers live, all Crane players gain two honour, and you create a delayed effect that negates the next destruction of a non-Shadowlands Unaligned Human Personality - you negate the destruction of the personality regardless of his controller.
