If only Matsu Otsuko defending against a personality with higher force. Can I use greater sacrifice to destroy Matsu Otsuko and use her reaction to reduce the personality force to 0, thus destroying the personality with greater sacrifice. One problem I see is that I have no legal target as I first announce the action of greater sacrifice.
I just want to make sure :]
Thank you

No, because the required targets of an action are chosen before its mandatory costs are paid, so you must target your unbowed Samurai Personality (Otsuko) and an enemy unit with total Force less than or equal to your Samurai’s unit's total Force, then you destroy Otsuko, then you destroy the enemy unit. As a consequence, Otsuko's Reaction is taken after the enemy unit is targeted, so you must find a legal target first. If there is no enemy unit that can be legally targeted, you cannot play Greater Sacrifice.
