Hello,
When is the gold cost of purchasing a personality during Dynasty "locked in"? If I meet a personality's Honor Requirement , then when I go to pay for it Smuggler's Port causes my honor to drop below the Honor Requirement, does that change how much I have to pay for the personality?
Concrete example: I currently have 6 Honor. I want to buy an on-clan personality that has an Honor Requirement of 6 and a Gold Cost of 5. I want to use Smuggler's Port to bring that personality into play, using the Lose 2 honor to make 3 gold option.
Can I do this?
What about for an off-clan personality, when my honor would drop below his HR while paying for it?

The sequence is here: "Playing Personalities".
Honor Requirement is checked at Step B, while paying costs is done at Step C.
Therefore, you could bring into play the Personality in the scenario above that you described.
