A player, 28 November 2010
Hi there,
What happens if a player wants to play Fortitude but there's not a legal target on the enemy army with lower force? I guess the player can't play that card at all because there has to be a primary target in the first place, but wanted to be sure of this. Maybe he can play it either way to just negate the penalties on his Berserker...
In the case of Walk in Shadows I'm positive of this, but a guy in our playgroup is still going around. A player can play Wlak in Shadows on a personality and move him to the same battlefield he's currently at (so no movement will be hapenning) and still give the poison tokens to a personlality there, right?
Thanks,
Javier

Yes, that's correct. The "enemy unit with lower total Force" is a required target. Without it, the action can't legally be played.

As long as the Ninja Personality has no non-Ninja Followers, he is a legal target for the action no matter where he's at. If he's already at the current battlefield, the movement just fails, but the effect of giving a token will still happen if its player wishes it to do so.
