A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

If I have multiple copies of Honorable Death in play, when a Deathseeker dies from fury tokens do all copies of Honorable Death trigger and produce honor?
Honorable Death Limited: Put this card into play in your home. While this card remains in play, at the end of each of your Action Phases, give each of your Deathseeker Personalities a +1F Fury token; then, for each of your Deathseekers who has a number of Fury tokens greater than or equal to his base Force, destroy him and gain 1 Honor.

Yes. Each honor gain is a separate effect, and each is only dependent on having Deathseeker with the right number of tokens.

Regarding this thread: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=86802
Zen's answer would appear to contradict this from the checklist/rules sheet included with Empire at War starters:
"Honorable Death: Multiple copies of this card in play will give multiple Fury tokens, but each Deathseeker that is destroyed will usually leave play before he can be counted for multiple Honor gains."
Is Zen correct or is the rules sheet?
Thanks, Mark

I am wrong. Alas, the Rule's Junta's reference set doesn't always include the rules sheets, and that was the case with Empire at War.
What's going on is that there is a timing conflict, because each card is causing a separate delayed effect that has to be resolved, in order, before the next delayed effect caused by the next card occurs (see).
Honorable Death #1 checks for tokens on Personalities, destroys Personalities, gives honor.
Honorable Death #2 checks for tokens on Personalities, finds none (all destroyed), gives nothing.
