I'm having trouble digesting the concept of using Junghar Encampment being used to take actions while defending with no units, like in this thread viewtopic.php?f=59&t=85989
I think the logical gap I'm following is that Junghar Encampment allows you to take an action "as if the Defender's army had at least one unit", but it doesn't say that you can take it as if you CONTROL that unit, for purposes of the rule of presence.
Hypothetical (not with Junghar Encampment) - My opponent attacks me, assinging 2 units to attack province A. I defend with a personality, and another player allies with me and sends a personality to defend as well. My personality gets destroyed by an action. So, all that's left at the battlefield is my opponent's attacking personalities, and my ally's defending personality. In this situation, I wouldn't be able to play Final Duty, because I don't satisfy the rule of presence, correct?
So, as a corrolary, if we go back to the hypothetical in the thread linked above about Junghar Encampment and Final Duty, why am I able to play Final Duty without presence? Junghar Encampment makes it such that there is considered to be a personality in the defending army there, but it is not necessarily a personality I control. How have I satisfied the rule of presence?
Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong, I look forward to your responses!

As they say in English pantos:
"Oh no it doesn't..."
http://rules.l5r.com/Older_Card_Rulings ... Encampment: "Reads, "Junghar Encampment 7PS 5G 4FH Once per battle, if you control any units at an adjacent battlefield, after you announce a Battle action at the current battlefield, you may take and resolve it as if the Defender's army had at least one unit, controlled by the Defender. (This does not create any units for costs or targeting.)"
Emphasis added.

Looks right.
