Created Attachments and Battle Resolution

L5R CCG Rules board, 19 July 2010

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I'm pretty sure this must be a question that keeps coming, but I swear I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ or comprehensive rules. I must have not looked at the right place.

Anyway: do created attachment count as cards for the purpose of gaining honor as a result of winning a battle? If I destroy one unit made of one Personality with a Farmland Follower, do I gain 2 or 4 Honor?

Thanks!

4 Honor in your scenario.

Created cards are cards in every sense, except that they cease to exist when they leave play (see here).

And the Honor gain for battle resolution is based on the number of cards were destroyed, not the number of cards were destroyed that still exist.
