A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

First of all I searched very hard to find the answers to these and wouldn't mind some assistance.
It goes without saying that you may only have one of any given celestial in your deck (because, at least as of current, they are all unique). But, since some celestials affect all personalities or players of a clan, do they count "twice" if each player has one out.
For example, lets say I, playing crab, have hida's guidance out. My opponent, playing crab, also has his hida's guidance out. Do we both have 12 province strength? (8+2+2?). I assume so, but I've learned a valuable lesson about assuming in this card game.
Second, and you will have to forgive me because this is VERY close to a previous question asked. I'd just like clarification.
If I use a mulligan from my border keep and flip 2 celestials, do both actually come into play under my control? A previous question had asked if they refill face up or not, but I just care whether they come into play.
For example, me playing crab, during a mulligan, flip hida's guidance and emma-o's guidance. Since they both "enter play" at the same time, which would be discarded for the other? Or do I get both and is this a viable (although very unlikely) way to circumvent the "one celestial at a time" rule?

1. An effect such as "Crab Clan players' provinces have +2 strength" applies to all players (in this case only if they're Crab Clan) regardless of who controls the source of the effect.
2. Already answered here: Border Keep refills the provinces face-up simultaneously. If this reveals more than one Celestial, they will then both enter play simultaneously. They don't discard each other because each one is not in play when the other enters play.
