Temple to Tsukune + Famous Bazaar

L5R CCG Rules board, 21 April 2010

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

There is a rule for provinces that says Some effects may make it possible for a province to hold more than one Dynasty card. If that happens, effects that happen to “the Dynasty card” in a province happen to a Dynasty card chosen by the province’s owner. So I assume it is not illegal to have 2 cards in provinces.

So if Famous Bazaar enters play from Temple to Tsukune, do I get to place 2 face up cards in the same province at the same time?

No.

The type of card effect referred to by "Some effects may make it possible for a province to hold more than one Dynasty card" is Plains of Otosan Uchi's "This Province holds two Dynasty cards."

An effect that says "Refill this province face-up" means that after the dynasty card is placed in the province, it is turned face-up: it does not allow you to place another card into a province that already holds a dynasty card.
