Regarding the new Technical Errata on Military Assessment.
Military Assessment – March 8th, 2010 Recon Limited: Target your Scout: Target a province. After the resolution of a battle, trait, or action that moved home or returned home one or more of your units from the province’s battlefield, straighten those units.

I am a bit confused about this being a technical errata as it appears that the missing phrase "After each time" results in it being functional errata as well.
Does the removal of "After each time" language mean that this action now only triggers once, or did I misunderstand the original wording of this card?
Thanks in advance.

As Bryan Reese said, this is merely technical errata such that the card works as intended. The straightening effect occurs after each and all instances given by the card's text at that Province's Battlefield for that turn.

If I am correctly reading Military Assessment's new wording, its interaction with Encircled Terrain changed: now, when the delayed effect of Encircled Terrain takes place, the unselected units will go home but not straighten. Is this intentional?

Military Assessment – old Recon Limited: Target your Scout: Target a province. After each time that one or more of your units moves home or returns home from the province's battlefield (including battle resolution), straighten those units.
Encircled Terrain Terrain Battle: Before this battle’s resolution, the Attacker and Defender, in the order of your choice, each choose one of their units at the current battlefield. Move all other units there home.

Under discussion.

I don't think the new wording helps, as movement home occurs after battle resolution, and Military assessment triggers "After the resolution of a battle".
According to the Comprehensive rules, Steps of a battle are: C. Resolution Segment 1. Determine Outcome 2. Effects of Resolution 3. Resolution ends. <---- this is where Military Assessment triggers D. Final Steps 1. Return home <--- this is where your units get bowed.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
