Heavy Elite (Follower) Ranged Attacks targeting cards in this unit have -2 strength. Battle: Destroy a target enemy card with equal or lower Force and no attachments. Draw a card.
Setting Sun Strike (Strategy) Reaction: After another player's action targets your Hero Personality during a Combat Segment: Give the Hero +3F. Straighten him before this battle's resolution.
1) Must Heavy Elite target an "enemy card" or an "enemy card with equal or lower force"?
2) My opponent uses Heavy Elite's (5F) action on my Hida Kaoru (4F) and I react to the targeting with Setting Sun Strike. After Announce, Targeting, Costs, when going to "Resolve Effects", does Heavy Elite's destroy resolve unsuccessfully because Kaoru no longer meets the destroy requirements even though she met the targeting requirements, as they are all in the same sentence?
3) Am I correct in understanding that the "Draw a Card." effect of Heavy Elite occurs regardless of the success of the destroy effect?

The latter; "with equal or lower force" is part of the targeting requirement.

Playing Setting Sun Strike will NOT stop Heavy Elite's destruction effect. There are no requirements on the destruction. If there were, the effect would be worded something like, "If X is true, destroy the target". The requirements are only on the targeting.
3) Am I correct in understanding that the "Draw a Card." effect of Heavy Elite occurs regardless of the success of the destroy effect?
