Text Black Scroll • Unique If this Personality ever has a number of Corruption tokens equal to or greater than his base Chi: Destroy him. Battle: Any number of times per turn, give this Personality a -1C Corruption token: Bow a target unit. Lose 2 Honor.

My friend thinks that you can use this, in one action, to give the perfoming personality as many -1C Corruption tokens at once as you want, to bow out the entire opposing army.

He says that because it says "Battle: Any number of times per turn..." and if it were meant to be once on his action, once on my action it would read: "Any number of times per turn Battle: Give this Personality..."

This card is a "I bow your unit. You take your action. I bow another of your unit" card, right? Or can he really bow out an entire army in one swift action?

Yes.

The text "Any number of times per turn" grants that ability an exemption from the rule that abilities can only be used once per turn. It doesn't do anything more than that. And it is located where it belongs, in the constraints block (see here for more info on that).
