A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
So are we getting a ruling on this? Or has it been ruled outside of the search function?
(Specifically, I see that the combo is being used and I'd like to know whether a ruling has been made.)

Also, Jared was not playing The Halls of Ancestors, he was playing Vigilant Plains of the Ikoma.
Additional, to help clarify Alex's link above:
Just because a ruling or the reasoning behind it is "Under Discussion" does not mean the ruling is invalid.
The most recent given ruling on a card is valid until we reverse it, if or when that even occurs.
