Legacy format confusion

L5R CCG Rules board, 7 September 2008

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I was under the impression that the trait Double Chi counted as Duelist in the Legacy format, but I can't seem to find this in the rules on AEG's ruleswiki. Was this rule removed?

Thank you!

I can assure you that such a rule never existed.

Double Chi was accidentally omitted when the Legacy format rules were first put online, but it was added shortly after and works just as it did when it last appeared on cards.

http://rules.l5r.com/Legacy_Format_Changes_to_the_Current_Rulebook#Double_Chi: "When a Personality in a duel has the Double Chi keyword, the focus value of each of the Personality's focused cards is added twice instead of once to the Personality's duel resolution score. [ADDED July 29 07]"
