So, I was looking at this, and it got me thinking about something that, I guess, has always been there.
When you play Insight, you don't take the additional action until after rearranging the order of the remaining cards. But, at that time, where is the Action card you selected? Insight has given you permission to play it for a Battle Action, but Insight doesn't say to remove it from your deck, and you haven't started playing it yet (which would move it from your deck to the resolution area). Do you look at the three cards, choose one, decide whether to switch positions of the other two, put all three back face-down on top of your deck, and then play from the deck the one you chose? Or does something on Insight keep the chosen card out of the deck when you put the other two back?

Still in your Fate deck.
Glossary, Look (emphasis added): "Inspect a face-down card without showing it to anyone else or changing its position (such as in a deck)."

Yes, generally speaking. You are not compelled to play any of those three cards even if all of them are Action cards or Rings with a legal Battle ability.
At last remember that if you chose a Ring, now you must reveal it in your deck as a rulebook effect and a part of the sequence of playing the action on it. The Fate and Dynasty decks (out of play): "If text allows an ability on a non-Action card in a deck to be used, follow the procedure for using an ability on a non-Action card in a hand" (see "Using abilities on non-Action cards from the hand").
