Devastating blow and send home bowed

Hi, is it possible to kill a personality without attachement by reacting with devastating blow after playing a card that send home bowed like refugees or furious assault?

The point is that send home targets a card in the enemy army, but at the time the card bows, it's no longer in the army. So does it work?

Thanks.

Devastating Blow: Heroic Shout Reaction: After you resolve an action on an Action card that bowed a card in an enemy army, target a Berserker in your current army: Destroy a target card without attachments in the unit of the bowed card.

refugees: Battle: If you are the Defender, you may take this action even if you control no units at the current battlefield: Move home a target Personality without Followers. Bow him if he moved. His controller may pay 1 Gold as a cost to create a 1F Ashigaru Follower card and attach it to him.

Furious assault: Battle: Target one of your Berserkers or bow one of your target Personalities or Followers: Lose 2 Honor. Target an enemy unit. Its controller may move it home and bow it. If it moved, it cannot move again this Combat Segment. If it did not move, destroy it after this Combat Segment ends.

Generally speaking: no, but actually it depends on the text of the ability on the Action card, and on circumstances.

If the ability reads "Bow him if he moved" (e.g. Refugees), then it doesn't work because the enemy unit is in his controller's home when its card bows so it is no longer in an army (see Glossary, Army: armies only exist at battlefields).

If it reads "move it home and bow it" (e.g. Furious Assault), and the movement is negated but not the bowing, then the enemy card is still in an army when it bows, thus Devastating Blow may destroy it.
