Unfortunate Incident and multiple Dirty Politics

L5R CCG Rules board, 12 June 2008

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

If I play a single Unfortunate Incident, can I react with 2 Dirty Politics to negate the honour loss and gain a total of 10 honour?

No. Your first Dirty Politics resolves before you would have an opportunity to play another. But, since the first negates the Honor loss, there is no longer any trigger for another to be played. "Before another player loses Honor" isn't happening any more because your first Dirty Politics negated the loss.
