A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Under "Samurai Edition rules changes" http://rules.l5r.com/Samurai_Edition_rules_changes , it says:
"Kiho is now an action keyword and has no special rules, nor is it a card type any more."
and:
"Keywords with more than one word are treated as a single keyword and don't respond to partial references; "Dragon Clan" is not referred to by "Dragon," for example."
So, is a card that says, for example, "Air Kiho" really intended to be only an "Air Kiho" card and neither an "Air" card nor a "Kiho" card? I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything. I'm updating my CV files and I'm not really sure which way to go with this. I guess the question also applies to stuff like "Heroic Shout". I.e., is it "Heroic" and "Shout" or "Heroic Shout" keyworded? Is it all three?
I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. I did some searching and couldn't really find anything.

It's here:
"Each word in an action’s keywords is a separate keyword. Example: A “Bushido Virtue” action is a Bushido action and a Virtue action."
Thus, an "Air Kiho" action is an Air action and a Kiho action.
