Official Tournament Legal Date for Words and Deeds
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

It's 30 days after release (not prerelease). Prerelease tournaments are listed as going on until 26 May 2008 (http://www.l5r.com/products/words-and-deeds-previews/), which indicates that the release date is not earlier than 27 May 2008, and tournament legality will be around the end of June 2008.
