Let me be the first to announce the addition of well-respected tournament judge Doruk Özaydın (atesh) to our Rules Team forum lineup, effective immediately. Doruk has officiated at tournaments across North America including GenCon Indy and Origins, and has been a playtester for several years now. There may be more additions in the days to come, in anticipation of Kotei season, so stay tuned.
New and departing Rules Team members
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Two more changes.
First, due to personal time commitments, Chris Fuchs has announced he is no longer able to answer questions as part of the Rules Team. Chris has done a great job in his time here and he'll be missed by all of us.
Second, joining Zen, Marty and Doruk on the Rules Team, effective immediately, will be Alexander Lewis Jones (AkodoGilador). Alex is a veteran UK tournament player who has attended many North American events, and is well known among the IRC channel community for his love of unusual decks and creative card combos. He has served as a judge or head judge at European Championships, World Championships, and many other storyline events in Europe.
Two final additions, who should be coming on here as soon as AEG procedures allow.
Brook Cunningham (MacBeth2001), an instrumental figure in the Legacy rules movement, will be joining us primarily for Legacy questions but also to answer current arc questions as needed.
Loïc Hervier (Bayushi Loïc) is familiar to anyone who follows the Rules Troubleshooting thread for his detailed and insightful questions on the fine points of the rules. With his addition to the team, we will now have people with one dot, two dots, and no dots over their "i"s, creating an invincible diacritical strike force.
