I got a personality X with and item attached. I play action card which target my attachment in constraints block (between two colons). Does it mean my personality's performing the action?
Perform A Personality or Follower is performing an action if its controller is the player taking the action, and any of these things is true: The action comes from an ability on the Personality or Follower. The action comes from an ability on an Item or Spell in the Personality’s unit. The Personality or Follower was targeted by targeting in the ability’s constraints block (between the two colons).

You sad here : http://www.alderac.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=65107 that my personality isn't performing the action. But in FAQ it stands that: "Actions are performed by Personalities or Followers. If you think you have an Item or Spell or Holding and so on performing an action, you've gone wrong somewhere."
I remind that I play an action CARD which targets my item between two colons (as a cost) so if my personality isn't performing the action that who/what is?

Nothing. There is no rule that every action has to be performed by someone. Some simply... happen.
(Previously, actions that weren't performed by a Personality or Follower were considered performed by the player, but this has been dropped in Samurai Edition.)
