Akodo Shigetoshi and Doomed Intentions

L5R CCG Rules board, 16 January 2008

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A player, 16 January 2008

Shigetoshi: Your Tacticians have the ability, "Tactical Battle: Destroy a Personality or Follower in this army: Destroy a target Follower or Personality without Followers opposing it."

Doomed Intentions: Battle: If there are enemy units at the current battlefield: Move one of your target units there. If it moved, straighten it. If you are the Defender, take an additional Battle action printed on a card in the unit.

Is akodo shigetoshis action considered printed on him for using doomed intentions. If he, say, moves into a defending army via doomed intentions?

Thank you for your time.

No. It's a trait.
