Shiba Aikune xp3 + Naval

Hi there,

I was reading the perform part of the wiki due to a doubt I got. If I'm attacking with Shiba Aikune xp3 and a random Bob Naval personality, can I declare a naval invasion and play Aikune's Battle action targeting the Naval personality?

I think not since Aikune should be the one performing that Battle, and not the personality that is destroyed as a costs... I got my doubts from the bolded part here:

"Perform

A Personality or Follower is performing an action if its controller is the player taking the action, and any of these things is true:

* The action comes from an ability on the Personality or Follower. * The action comes from an ability on an Item or Spell in the Personality’s unit. * The Personality or Follower was targeted by targeting in the ability’s constraints block (between the two colons).

Costs or other restrictions that are added to an action, and involve targeting a Personality, do not mean that the Personality thus targeted is performing the action. The targeting must come from the base wording of the ability."

Note there is no such thing as a "Naval invasion" any more.

Assuming you are referring to the default player ability, not, the Experienced 3 Shiba Aikune can not use his ability, because it does not target a Naval Personality. (Fixed.)

If it did target, it would work. The rules for determining what performs something are not mutually exclusive: more than one Personality or Follower can perform an action.
