If I were playing Spider and entered a duel using Chuda Rintaro(who has no entering-play honor loss), would Death of Virtue Style give me 2 focus or 5(2+3, as there is no entering-play honor loss to choose)?

An unspecified value is treated as "0" when it is referenced. 0 < 3, so you'd have a 2FV card.
