Hi !
In a situation where Shosuro Adeiko has put a -3/-1 token on one of my personnalities, I'd like to know what happens in those cases:
- I attach Iron Testubo (the force penalty is negated) to the personnality. I then transfer the Iron Tetsubo to another of my personnalities. What happens to the force penalty ? Has it been negated for ever or only while the Iron Tetsubo is attached ?
- During a battle, I play Justly Earned Victory to negate all force bonus and penalties from action. The penalty is on a token but there's a passage in the rulebook stating that: "Effects of tokens, such as bonuses or penalties to stats, come from the card that created the token.", in other words Shosuro Adeiko's reaction. Am I right, thinking the penalty would be negated ?
Thank you for your time.

Hi !
In a situation where Shosuro Adeiko has put a -3/-1 token on one of my personnalities, I'd like to know what happens in those cases:

Only while the Iron Tetsubo is attached. That Token creates a Continuous Effect. Once one Continuous Effect negating another Continuous Effect ends, the previously suppressed Continuous Effect reasserts itself.
Continuous negation effects (such as the non-triggered trait “This card can not gain Force bonuses” on a card in play) negate all relevant instantaneous, ongoing and continuous effects while the negation effect applies. If such an effect ceases to apply, ongoing effects do not reassert themselves, but continuous effects do.
As noted in the Comprehensive Rules - Duration of Negation Effects.
You are correct. The penalty is considered to have come from the source that created the token. Justly Earned Victory will Negate the penalty until its duration expires.
