Astonishing resilience and will

Astonishing Resilience Heroic Reaction: After another player's card's effect destroys a Hero or Berserker Personality in an army: The Personality contributes his Force to the army even while he is dead (only if the army has one or more units).

Will Dark Virtue Battle: If there are any enemy units at the current battlefield, target a dead Samurai Personality you own: Bring him into play there, paying 2 less Gold and ignoring Honor Requirements.

And the blind cards rule on page 55 of the rule book.

If I play Astonishing Resilience on a hero as he is killed and then I Will him back to life on my next opportunity, what happens? Does his force still contribute "while dead" or does him coming back from the dead negate the action of Astonishing Resilience?

If I play Astonishing Resilience on a hero as he is killed and then I Will him back to life on my next opportunity, what happens?

Astonishing Resilience doesn't add force to your army total -- it just changes where the Personality is allowed to contribute from. The Personality contributes his Force once, as normal. No double dipping.
