L5R CCG Rules board, 11 October 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Simple question, really.

Political Reaction: After a battle or duel ends: Dishonor a target Personality who opposed one of your Personalities in the battle or duel.

I am in a battle, say from Ambush. As such, my opponent's defending personality is opposed to my Ambushing personality. My opponent sends my personality home. The battle ends. Can I dishonor the defending personality because it opposed mine at one point in time? Or does "opposed one of your Personalities in the battle" mean opposed during resolution?

Thanks!
