I was playing Dragon vs. Dragon match last night.
My opponent recruited Togashi Satsu EXP4. I then killed Satsu. So now we have a Unique Togashi Satsu DEAD in a discard pile When I went to recruit my Togashi Satsu EXP4.
My opponent said he didn't think it was legal, and that Dead personalities count as in play for Uniqueness purposes.
Is this correct, or an old ruling that is no longer valid?
Could I have brought mine into play?

It's not correct, and it has never been a rule.
