In reference to this, I am deeply sorry but I've forgotten to ask another question about this Event. When Test of the Jade Champion resolves, if I control at least one Shugenja Personality that I target, must I discard a card or is it optional ?

Targeting is optional, but if you do, you must discard if possible.
