A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Comprehensive Rules:
"Effects that happen to put the top card of the deck into a player’s hand without saying “draw” are not considered drawing – for example, when a player looks at the top four cards of her deck and chooses to put the one that happened to be on top into her hand."
Are effects that unconditionally put top card of the deck into player's hand, without saying "draw",considered drawing?

I think we're generally trying to avoid such situations as much as possible. Is there a particular effect in the current Samurai format that does this?
