Weird question...
I am attacking, and my army contains Utaku Yu-Pan exp and Utaku Tayoi. My opponent is defending his final province with a single non-Naval personality, who has no Naval followers attached. Yu-Pan has the Heavenly Kobune of Suitengu attached, and thus has Naval. For my Naval action, I can choose to use Yu-Pan's printed ability, bowing Yu-Pan as the cost, to move the opposing personality home. I expect there's no debate on that. But...
1) For my Naval action, can I bow Tayoi as the cost of Yu-Pan's ability?
2) What if Tayoi is the one who has the Heavenly Kobune attached? Can I bow her as a cost of Yu-Pan's ability as my Naval action for the battle?
From my understanding of Naval in SE, the action merely needs to be performed by a Naval personality. But in the above two examples, the action is performed by both Naval and non-Naval personalities together. Does that still work?
Relavent card text:
Yu-Pan
Battle: Any number of times per turn, bow a target Personality with 3 or more Personal Honor in Yu-Pan's army: Target a unit opposing Yu-Pan. Move it to an adjacent province, or home if there is no adjacent province.
Heavenly Kobune of Suitengu
If this Personality has the base Naval or Cavalry keyword, he has both Naval and Cavalry.
